Most great things start small, but they rarely stay that way. For Feeding India, what began as a mission to solve a single problem has grown into a commitment to protect our nation’s future. That commitment now continues as part of Eternal Foundation, a broader organisation that brings together Feeding India and other efforts under one shared purpose, with the collective reach and resilience to take this work further.
The scale of our work has always been driven by the collective action of our supporters. From powering food donation drives to building a movement where millions of users donate with their orders, your generosity has helped us serve over 29 crore meals to millions of children as of today. The impact of our work has been both monumental and humbling, given how much is left to do. Now, we're evolving to ensure it does not just continue, but operates with even greater transparency and efficiency.
One organization. Wider mandate. Same north star.
Feeding India, originally established as an initiative under Hunger Heroes, collaborated with Zomato in 2019 to solve the crisis of hunger and malnutrition in the country. While our efforts naturally began with securing nourishment for children, our time on the ground revealed a deeper truth - hunger never stands alone. It sits at the heart of a larger ecosystem where education, health, livelihoods and the environment all shape one another.
To meet this evolving reality, Feeding India is now also an initiative of Eternal Foundation. Our mandate has now expanded to address quality education, health and well-being, livelihoods, sustainability and other areas inextricably linked to the same "north star" we have been chasing all along: make India malnutrition free. With the Eternal Foundation, we now have the room to do more and we believe that is reason enough to try.
This is a commitment rooted in our defining principle since day one: Leave no one behind.
Purpose-built for accountability.
Eternal Foundation is an independent entity that hosts multiple social initiatives under its umbrella. Legally, it operates as a Section 8 subsidiary of Eternal Limited (formerly Zomato Limited), and is run under the careful scrutiny of a governing body, all while maintaining separate audited books and public disclosures. We have also ensured that all essential tax-exempt registrations, such as Section 133, remain active so all contributions continue to be tax-deductible. For our donors, this means commitment to the highest standards of non-profit governance and deeper accountability for every rupee contributed.
Your ability to create impact remains uninterrupted.
For those who have been walking this path with us, the transition is entirely seamless. We have designed the migration to ensure that the process of giving remains unchanged:
• All recurring donations through Eternal apps, such as Zomato and Blinkit, will continue exactly as they are today
• Our receipts and records, will now reflect “Eternal Foundation” as the recipient entity
Moving forward, our vision for Feeding India, by Eternal Foundation, goes beyond a "giveback." We are committed to reshaping the future of India by supporting the children who will inherit this country and the adults who are raising them.
