An exclusive community of like-minded young professionals united to take action and effect change with the ultimate goal of making India malnutrition-free (Kuposhan Mukt Bharat). To engage the community at scale, a diverse group of volunteers come together to start Poshan Chapters at the community level. With the collective efforts and learnings of all the on-ground Poshan Chapters, a strengthened Poshan Community is formed.
Poshan Chapters are diverse groups representing a particular city, college, or locality, united by the drive to create impact. Each chapter self-organizes to initiate projects that address the needs of the community. The projects are wide-ranging - excess food distribution, food literacy campaigns, strengthening Anganwadi centers, identifying local NGOs, door-to-door awareness about Government schemes and emergency relief initiatives, and more.
