Food support for underserved communities
During the pandemic, with most urban areas still under a lockdown and businesses resuming operations slowly, multiple communities were struggling to find stable means to provide for their families. Many specific communities including those of rag-pickers, sex workers, daily wage earners, transgender had been ignored by other relief efforts during the pandemic. We supported these families with ration kits or cooked food.
Together, we have been able to raise INR 15,76,068, which was used to distribute 9,72,825 meals to underserved communities.

The donations were used to provide ration kits or cooked food to specific communities that have been left out of other national relief efforts during the pandemic.
In ₹500, we were able to arrange for a ration kit for a family of 5 for a week or 10 individuals with one time meal, either a cooked meal or ready to eat snacks with a bottle of drinking water
This was a 100% not for profit campaign and all donations were used to procure and distribute food to those in need
Our strong network of volunteers and NGOs helped us manage the on-ground distribution keeping social distancing and other safety norms in mind.
We have disclosed the use of proceeds in a financial transparency report sent to all contributors of the campaign.
Donations made towards this initiative are non-refundable. Receipts will be shared over mail within 10 days from the date of donation for all donations that include valid PAN details.
