Help support families affected by Cyclone Amphan
Cyclone Amphan has wreaked havoc in the lives of people around West Bengal and Orissa.
While the world was struggling with COVID-19 situation, this cyclone had caused additional trauma to the lives of millions of Indians. We supported affected families with ration kits that was equipped to feed a family of 5 for a week.
Together, we were able to raise INR 36,03,731, which was used to distribute 7,75,590 meals across the affected region
How were your donations used?
Each meal kit contained a combination of rice and pulses that could be used to cook 3 meals per day for a family of 5 for a week. Each of these kit costed ₹500.
All donations were used to procure and distribute meal kits to families across cyclone hit areas of Odisha and West Bengal (Medinipur, North 24 Parganas, South 24 Parganas, Kolkata).
We had partnered with multiple NGOs on-ground to help ensure systematic and responsible distribution of these kits while adhering to social distancing guidelines.
This was a 100% not for profit campaign, and we have disclosed the use of proceeds in a financial transparency report sent to all contributors to the campaign.
Receipts will be shared over mail within 10 days from the date of donation.
