Educate India Initiative In Collaboration with Unacademy
Providing Ed-Tech and Nutritional Support to children affected during COVID-19
While the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted lives and families, it has had an unfathomable impact on children. During the pandemic, many children suffered irreparable losses in terms of losing a loved one, having access to food and equal learning opportunities.
Educate India initiative is a nationwide campaign by Feeding India and Unacademy. Through this initiative we aim to provide educational and nutritional support to 1,900+ children affected by the pandemic. The aim is to provide holistic support to these children so that they can stay focused on achieving their goals.
How were your donations used?
So far, we have been able to support 665 children in 6 cities with electronic tablets, data connection for 1 year, a backpack with stationery and ration or equivalent support for an year.
To bridge the education gap created due to covid and to promote ed-tech, we will also provide children with subscription to Unacademy courses(sponsored by the company) for a year.
This initiative is dedicated to the Unacademy Educators we lost due to the pandemic
Donations made towards this initiative are non-refundable. Receipts will be shared over mail within 15 working days from the date of donation for all donations that include valid PAN details.
