Doodh Suvidha
A unique initiative to ensure that 450 vulnerable children from the unprivileged section of the society get access to proper education during their childhood, by providing them Milk on a regular basis and tracking their nutritional intake for 9 months.

This initiative is led by Natural Remedies, a pioneer in the veterinary herbal healthcare industry working from manufacturing herbal veterinary & human healthcare products to marketing them as the effective, safe and consistent they are.

About the Campaign:
The Doodhsuvidha campaign is helping 450 children in Gurgaon and Bangalore get better access to nutrition and an incenteive dor education.

Beneficiaries:

  • Children come from nearby slums to study. They go to garbage dumps / labor sites in the morning and come to schools in the evening

  • Counselling sessions are given to parents to allow their children to attend this bridge school.

  • Milk acts as a huge incentive for the parents to send their children to school
     

Key details: 

  • Milk served to children aged 4-12 years

  • Given to the children on each school day

  • Running for 9 months

  • Feeding India ensures quality of the milk and proper hygiene
     

Impact: 

  • Increased calcium, Vitamin D and other vitamins 

  • Increase in the number of children attending school 

  • Increased new student enrolments 

  • Better concentration and more activeness during the students' academics and extra-curricular activities
